Good morning! According to the clock on my computer, it is 3:56 a.m. I am making this post - and trying to make it quick because I need to get showered and out of here to join Eric at Roseville Meats for the last broadcast of Hogue in the Morning on KTKZ and the Real Estate Minute. I can't tell you how many times I wondered how long such a great experience like doing the Real Estate Minute would last. I always knew that Eric with his incredible talent would one day move on to bigger and better opportunities. That time has come and while I am thrilled for him, I am going to miss our morning chat. Now, understand I am not going to miss getting up around 4:30-5:00 a.m. each morning and trying to figure out what to say - or even more challenging how to condense a huge topic into a minute. The most challenging thing about the Real Estate Minute was that it was every day and my life centered around being phone connected each morning at 6:15 a.m. with a decent phone line.
All this week, I’ve been reminiscing about all the topics & events we’ve covered on the Real Estate Minute. Until Eric announced that he was leaving yesterday, I didn't feel I could say anything, but I did try to make this past week a walk down memory lane. In the my minute, in addition to talking about all things known to real estate, we covered the birth of my 2 of my grand children Jonah & Maggy who are soon to be 3, when Maggy was so ill the KTKZ listeners picked up on it and called me with well wishes. (by the we’re expecting grandchild #5, Wyatt & Amy are due in late February) We did the real estate minute from France covering not only French housing prices, but Eric actually interviewed French citizens regarding their views on the then upcoming 04 election & the war in Iraq. That cell phone bill was one none of us ever want again. We traveled to New York and did the RE minute from ground zero and the Today show. We’ve ventured into personal political opinion during the recall & the election of Gov. Arnold. Through it all, our intention & goal was to make it informative, interesting, fun & honest! It’s been a wonderful experience for me & I hope also for the KTKZ listeners. And now, here we are, last day of the Real Estate Minute. We’ll be live at Roseville Meats. Alan & I will be there from all morning......hope you can come by. And, as always, if you're thing of buying or selling any real estate and want an agent who cares as much about you and your money as you do, give me a call at 973-4532..... I'd be honored to put my (soon to be) 37 years of experience to work for you and prove, experience is not expensive, it is priceless!
